Email remains one of the largest sources of ROI for many companies. Yet, finding designers who can balance the aesthetic as well as technical needs of this niche can be challenging. Over the years, I have worked with many great companies—helping to expand their email programs and meet the unique, evolving needs of their ever growing email lists.

Cinemark Weekly Emails

Cinemark needed dynamic emails that could not only swap in and out movie posters tailored towards the user’s preferences, but that could also provide a user-specific dashboard summarizing available points and rewards.

After launching these emails, the number of customers purchasing tickets online exponentially increased alongside an uptick in corresponding clickthrough rates.

Cinemark End of Year Review

Cinemark needed an end of year review email that could dynamically deliver user-specific information such as movie tickets purchased and points redeemed. The email also needed to provide dynamic information summarizing transactions spanning all of Cinemark’s customers.

Cinemark Continuity Program

In an effort to increase ticket sales, Cinemark launched a continuity program that rewarded customers for purchasing sets of tickets. These emails were developed to allow users to keep track of how far along they were in the continuity program and what tickets they needed to purchase next in order to be rewarded.

 

Movie Club 1 Million Members

Cinemark needed a campaign and corresponding emails advertising its acquisition of 1 million members for its Movie Club rewards program. The email needed to deliver dynamic content advertising how much money it had saved the recipient and his or her fellow Movie Club members.

New Luxury Loungers

This email was developed to target users whose local theaters were being upgraded to provide luxury loungers. The email also needed dynamic offerings at the bottom to encourage users to go to their theater and try out these new amenities.

T.D. Jakes Mother’s Day Sale

The T.D. Jakes online store ran regular email sales in coordination with paid and organic ads. The team I oversaw developed the internal branding for these cross-channel initiatives and I designed several of their monthly sends.

 

T.D. Jakes Leadership Conference Sale

To support T.D. Jake’s International Leadership Summit, we developed several bundles for their online store to compliment the success of these conferences.

Landing Page

As part of our work with Dr. Henry Cloud’s Boundaries.me, an online self-help tool, we ran several online campaigns and I designed the landing page for these paid ads. The team I oversaw also developed our internal branding for this client after several months of testing various online collateral.
